Week 2 already in Bali. I only had 18 more days in the country to discover it and enjoy it at its fullest. My flight back was the 23th of November.
So, at that point I decided to download Bumble, as I said before, a great app to connect with people that arent trying to make out with you. I had tons of matches, but I only met with one of them. A spanish girl named Laura, working in Switzerland as Consutant Marketing, and OH MY GOD, the salary she had, was just crazy. No doubt she didnt mind spending so much money haha.
The thing is, I met her at the famous and never to go again: FINNS CLUB. This is like the place where all the lonely wanna be go to feel rich for once in their lifes. It is full of people that are in bali for a one week vacation and want to get completely wasted and invite everyone hoping they will get laid at some point. There is this huge swimming pool filled with alcohol (of course, drunk people spill everything) and a variety of bars to choose from. However, none of them are lower than hundred Rupias for a drink (equals to 6 euros). I have to say though, that the entrace is free. So, for people as poor as me, you can get drunk before and then get inside, which is a good deal.
Some days after we met again at a beach and there were 2 spanish friends from Madrid. She had met them through a group of spanish nomads in whatsapp. Manu and Kike. They both had 27, and were just tired of their lifes. Each one with their one reasons, but the outcome being the same. The four of us connected really quick, and thats when I started going out nearly each night.
On the other hand, there was Irene, a catalan girl of 23 which became important in my life. But that story is for later.
Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention him. Aleix, around his 25 years old, videographer. I met him in my own house. So, how did that happened? Well, I may have not talked a lot about my uncle yet, but he is basically everywhere. The case is, Aleix was working for him to create a video for a house my aunt had constructed. So I just invited him to come with us, and thats all. He left really soon though.
Overall, we tried meeting other spanish friends, but there was no one that had our same vibe or that we connected in any level, so we just had each other, and that was completely fine.
