Empecemos / Let`s get started

No me cogieron. No funcionó nada.

Bienvenidos a mi aventura.

---------------------------------------------------

Is already summer when I get back from NY, when I return to my home, Barcelona. During the two months of vacation, I travel to Italy (Lago di Garda), Hossegor (France) and the Costa Brava in Barcelona. Nothing new.

And of course, searching for a new job. Well, to be completely honest, little effort was made. The reality is that I wanted a specific job. Surely you all know Amazon. One of the positions that were opened and I had absolute interest in was Brand Manager in Luxembourg. I became obsessed with that position and location. So much that I stopped considering other options.

They didn't hire me. They didn't even give me an interview. They dismissed me just with the resume. I applied 3 times, I contacted workers to give me the go-ahead, I tried to go through a referral, but nothing. Nothing worked. I was quite discouraged, because I had put a lot of desire and hopes that they would want me. However, when one door closes, another opens.

I realized that I didn't want to be in Barcelona anymore. If I didn't have any job or studies to attend to, I was going to use my time doing what I had always wanted but had not dared. TO TRAVEL.

I called my uncle that same day: they live in Bali. He confirmed the dates I could stay with them.

And just like that, the next day I bought a flight ticket to Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, departing in two weeks. Some will say I'm crazy, I'll say I'm brave.

Welcome to my adventure.

"A bad day in Bali is still better than a good day anywhere else"

"A bad day in Bali is still better than a good day anywhere else" That was the first grafitti I saw when I was on my way to my uncles home, at 1 in the morning. TWENTY hours of flight, I was so tired I could already feel the jetlag hiting me.  For those who have been in Bali, I was staying in Canggu Area, Berawa. A very nice and confortable neighborhood. The best thing about the location is that is only ten minutes from the  parties and the center, yet you never have to  put u p with them.  Bali Belly:  essentially an upset stomach or travellers' diarrhoea.  Thats what ha p p ened right after my arrival. For 2 days I could not move from home having this horrible feeling in the stomach. Didn`t bother me much though, cause I had a big garden and swimming  p ool, and of course, my family. Too much to talk about.  But hold on, not everything is that bad.  I met 2 french sisters that same weekend, who were raised in Bali and just came back t...
